Our design focus at Uneek Design is that of incorporating an "artists touch" to every piece we produce. This is complimented by a knowledge in building of more than fifteen years in the home remodeling industry, which is ever evolving in attempts to incorporate new technologies while still staying true to a hands on approach.
We have various art works and designs currently making their run in galleries and available for purchase directly through Uneek Design.

Behind Uneek Design/ Art and Bio

The ideas and structures behind the creative designs that formulate through our wood work stems from a childhood hobby and interest in art.
Bill Weyna, founder of Uneek Design, spent his childhood with pen and pad when other children were playing with toys. In the early 1980's Bill became part of an urban art movement and by high school graduation had already began designing logos and album covers for several local talents. In the mid 1990's he joined the United States Marine Corps, downtime was spent creating logos and banners for units and eventually he began to design artwork for tattoos on fellow "Devil Dogs". Upon return, Bill resumed work as a carpenter which eventually led to Lead Carpenter and Project Manager of high-end residential remodels. Side work in the shop was the beginning of Bills formulation from pen and paint to wood. Uneek Design opened its doors in 2008 as a manner in which to combine Bills artwork with his woodwork and offer quality custom products worthy of enjoying a lifetime, as well as afford the opportunity to help other local artists with framing and displaying of their art. Uneek Design has since been part of various pop-up art exhibitions and galleries, and has sponsored and contributed to others. He continues to work with different organized efforts to enhance the studies of liberal arts among youths in Chicago.
